Real-Time Economy in the Baltic Sea region and Digital Gateway for Enterprises: What the future will look like for the businesses and the governments

Conference „Real-Time Economy in the Baltic Sea region and Digital Gateway for Enterprises: What the future will look like for the businesses and the governments?” took place on 13th June 2023 in Tallinn.

The conference was the final event for the project “Supporting productivity and competitiveness of Estonian SMEs through Real-Time Economy and single contact point digital solutions”.  

Key topics handled in the conference were:

  1. Real-Time Economy vision and roadmap foundations for Baltic Sea Region
  2. eReceipt cross-border service model
  3. Real-Time Economy validation model for onboarding new ideas
  4. Using AI to provide better targeted public services and information in the example of Estonia’s Digital Gateway for Enterprises (state portal eesti.ee)
     

The conference aimed to provide a comprehensive overview of the project's findings, facilitate knowledge sharing through panel discussions and working groups, and foster networking opportunities among attendees.

The project was funded by the European Union via the Technical Support Instrument, managed by the European Commission Directorate-General for Structural Reform Support. The final event was also funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU. 

The conference presentations provided insights into the project's outcomes, emphasizing the significance of Real-Time Economy and AI-driven solutions in the Baltic Sea region, specifically within the Digital Gateway for Enterprises. The panel discussion offered diverse perspectives, fostering an exchange of ideas and strategies for successful digitalisation in business-government interactions.
