Representatives of The Northern Dimension partnership on Transport and Logistics (NDPTL), European Commission, Project Partners from Lithuania, Finland, Estonia, Latvia and Poland and stakeholders from public and private sector from Germany, Italy, France, Belgium and Luxembourg gathered to Estonia on 8th June 2023 to take part of the Final Conference of NDPTL Goes Real Time Economy – eCMR Solution.
During the day the Project results were shared with the audience and the discussions regarding digitalisation of information exchange, challenges of implementing the European regulation of Electronic Freight Transport Information (eFTI) and steps towards achieving an interoperable electronic freight information exchange system in Europe were discussed.
Most interesting part of the Final Conference concerned live demonstration of redeveloped eCMR prototype. The NDPTL goes Real-Time Economy: eCMR project is a big step towards a positive change, and the findings, recommendations, and lessons learned proved its benefits to all parties in the supply chain.
