Data-based reporting: Agricultural Registers and Information Board

The Agricultural Registers and Information Board has an electronic field data book, and based on the principles of real-time economy, it will be possible to transfer data from farm software directly to the electronic field data book.

Agriculture is an increasingly data-based field, and farm software already contains the necessary data. If the farm software is interfaced with the electronic field data book, subsidies can be proactively offered to farmers in the future and subsidies applications can be automatically filled out. It will also be possible to easily update registry data.

A prototype of how data will be transferred between farm software and the electronic field data book will be completed by the end of 2023. The central electronic field data book is mandatory from 2024.

Data will also be transferred between the register of agricultural animals and farm software. By the end of 2023, the development of a prototype will also be completed, with the help of which data can be transferred between the register of agricultural animals, the register of agricultural parcels, and the register of organic farming.
